SCENARIO AND CHALLENGE
Making the infrastructure more resilient and flexible to support international expansion without compromising daily operations

In 2021, Bracchi embarked on a multi-year digital transformation to support growth and internationalization.
The pre-existing IT infrastructure, spread across multiple locations and based on heterogeneous systems, suffered from poor reliability with frequent downtime and difficulties in centralized management.

Deda Tech initially supported Bracchi with an interim @home solution, and then proposed a structured strategy based on Managed IaaS.
The objectives of the project were to make systems more resilient and increase their availability, simplify infrastructure management, and ensure scalable growth.
To complement this, a Disaster Recovery plan was introduced to protect data and operations in every scenario.

Proposal and solution

A structured path that has transformed the client’s IT infrastructure into a reliable, high-performance and resilient platform ready to ensure business continuity in any scenario.

The path with Deda Tech was developed in several stages. After an initial phase of managing major critical issues in 2021, a structured strategy based on managed IaaS was chosen. This made it possible to consolidate systems within the Bergamo datacenter, standardize virtualization on VMware, and provide a reliable and managed infrastructure in every aspect, from daily backups to network security.

In 2023, with operations now well established, the client decided to upgrade connectivity to ensure better performance and provide its sites with faster and more stable access to systems. This evolution was then accompanied by the introduction of Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS): another step forward to protect business operations. Thanks to the continuous replication of systems to the Rome datacenter and the preparation of a DR plan with annual testing, today Bracchi has a concrete guarantee of continuity even in unforeseen scenarios.
